Citronella is not my favorite scent, but this oils smell is true to what it is, a nice, strong scent and the therapeutic properties are amazing. I have been wanting to purchase citronella and finally did when Piping Rock had it on sale. Now I can make my own mosquito spray for this summer. I shop with Piping Rock every month and always love it when I can find something I need on sale. Their products are always of good quality. Wonderful natural product to repel mosquitoes
Citronella essential oil is one of the natural products I use when making my summer line of all natural bath and body products. I add the Citronella oil mainly to my body lotions/creams and body lotion bars, to deter mosquitoes and other pesky bloodsucking vermin. ;) Works great and is much healthier for your skin than a chemical commercial product. However, you should not apply this directly to your skin, as it is to strong in it's undiluted form. It also performs very well in an oil diffuser, as well as gives off a pleasant citrus like scent that mosquitoes etc. aren't particularly fond of...
